Matthew Merten

Matthew Merten is the bassist for Cold Samaritan. He started playing bass at thirteen and started taking lessons at fourteen. He has been inspired by Metallica, Gorillaz, and Black Sabbath. Matthew also knows how to play the trumpet and plays tennis.

Matthew primarily listens to grunge and alternative rock. Matthew currently plays a black Jackson Concert Bass JS2.
